The Nord Pine is our Scandinavian-inspired A-frame cabin tucked into the peaceful woods of the Smoky Mountains. Designed with clean lines, natural textures, and a calming aesthetic, it’s a place meant for slowing down, getting cozy, and enjoying the beauty of the mountains.
The name “Nord” comes from the Old Norse word for north. For us, it’s a nod to our New England roots—growing up near Boston, the north has always meant crisp air, tall pines, and a sense of calm that feels both familiar and grounding. When we created this cabin, we wanted to bring that feeling with us to Tennessee: a blend of northern simplicity, mountain stillness, and modern comfort.
As owners, we poured our hearts into crafting a space that feels welcoming, refreshing, and a little different from the typical Smoky Mountain cabin. Whether you’re here to unwind, explore, or make memories with family and friends, we hope The Nord Pine feels like your own peaceful retreat.
